The Beautiful Wedding of David & Bella at Vidamar

There are weddings that simply make your heart smile — and David and Bella’s beautiful day at Vidamar Algarve was just that. A celebration of true love, surrounded by flowers, sunshine, and their dearest family and friends.
As their celebrant, I had the pleasure of standing beside them amidst the most breathtaking floral setting, with the golden Algarve light pouring in, and witnessing a love story that had clearly grown stronger with every adventure they’d shared. From their first meeting in Dublin to a proposal on Christmas Day surrounded by family — every chapter of their story brought them to this moment.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and full of emotion. David and Bella simply couldn’t take their eyes off each other — completely wrapped up in the promises they were making. Their vows were spoken softly, with smiles, laughter, and the odd happy tear. And when they exchanged rings, with the help of their adorable nieces (the official ring bearers!) and their “Ring Security” Travis, you could feel the whole space light up with joy.
And then came that moment. Their very first kiss as husband and wife.
It was tender, full of love, and you could almost feel time stand still around them. The Algarve breeze, the scent of fresh flowers, their family and friends watching on with happy hearts — everything seemed to fade into the background as David and Bella kissed, sealing their vows in the most beautiful way.
One of my favourite parts of the day was including the Pocket Watch Ceremony. At the exact moment of their first kiss as husband and wife, I stopped the watch — capturing that perfect instant in time forever. Now, whenever they look at it, they’ll be transported back to that beautiful moment on the Algarve coast where they began their married life.
As they signed their wedding certificate and walked back down the aisle to cheers as Mr & Mrs Revins, you could see it on every face: this was a couple surrounded by love and unwavering support.
David and Bella, thank you for choosing me to be part of such an incredible day. May that pocket watch — and all the memories it holds — remind you always of the love you shared on that sun-drenched afternoon, and the start of a beautiful journey together.
