“I arrived in the Algarve in the summer of 1992, captivated by Portugal’s charm. The desire to spend my life here and connect with people ignited within me. For 14 years, I served as a Holiday Representative, honing my public speaking skills and organising abilities while engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Fate brought me together with my husband, James, and we embarked on a journey as Professional Wedding Photographers under the name James Hardie Photography . Our services attracted couples worldwide, drawn to the Algarve as their dream destination for tying the knot. Those years were filled with joy, as we captured the love stories of over 80 couples per season.

However, when the pandemic struck, our world changed. The cancellations of all our weddings prompted us to reflect on our lives and restructure our path. We made the bold decision to sell our home and purchase a dilapidated Ranch inland, which not only granted us financial freedom but also allowed us to pursue personal dreams. During this transformative period, I underwent extensive training to become a Certified Celebrant and Ordained Minister.

Now, while James and his Photography team continue to immortalise weddings through their lenses, I have embraced my true passion. As a Certified Celebrant, I am devoted to deepening my connection with couples, ensuring their special day is truly remarkable. The joy I experience in this role is immeasurable, and I am dedicated to crafting unique and personalised ceremonies that reflect the love and aspirations of each couple.
